PHCC Duty Officer Checklist
The duty officer is responsible for the care and safe return of any club
equipment. He/she will also be the first point of contact for people
seeking information about the club or club members.
On Unlocking The Hut
- Opening the PHCC Lake Pier club hut and allowing others access to the club equipment, the following shall be checked prior to releasing any equipment by the Duty Officer
On Release of PHCC Equipment
- Boat and equipment has been logged into the Equipment log book.
- You can acknowledge that the person taking the equipment is a club member.
- The person taking the PHCC equipment has read the PHCC Paddling Guidelines. (These will also be displayed in teh club hut)
- The relevant equipment cost/charge has been reminded to be paid into the honesty box.
On return of PHCC Equipment
- All details have been completed in the log book including repairs and signature.
Locking up the Hut.
- The water locker is locked
- The metal container is locked
- No lights or electricity on.
- Nobody has been locked up inside the hut
