Sea paddling
Poole Harbour Canoe club is in a perfect location for those who venture out in sea kayaks.
The harbour provides some protection for those not wanting to venture far from land but squeezing out through the harbour entrance you can travel many miles along the stunning Jurrasic coast. The famous Old Harry Rock landmark is well within reach for a round trip from the harbour on a summer evening, and paddles across the Solent to the Isle of Wight are often on the events list for the year.
Club members often travel with their sea kayaks to paddle other challenging locations such as the Devon and Cornwall coast, Pembrokeshire, Anglesey, Scotland, Norway and even paddle crossings to the isles of scilly and Ireland.
