Harbour race
PHCC is well known for hosting the very successful “Poole Harbour Canoe Race”.
This is a set of races of 4, 8 and 15 miles for different types of canoes and paddling ability, around looped courses within Poole Harbour. Download an entry form and race details here! Last years race was held on the 13th September. Click on the link below to see the full race results.
The format features a “Le-Mans” style start from the beach at Lake Pier location
and copious amounts of food and prizes afterwards. This takes place in mid September and is a not to be missed event.
Check in from 9:30, briefing at 11:00, first races start at 11:30, prizes at 15:00.
Competitors come from some distance away, we have even had our good friends from the Cherbourg canoe club
join us for the last few years.
