Harbour race
PHCC is well known for hosting the very successful “Poole Harbour Canoe Race”. This is a set of races of 4, 8 and 15 miles for different types of canoes and paddling ability, around looped courses within Poole Harbour. Sunday 16th September
The format features a “Le-Mans” style start and copious amounts of food and prizes afterwards. This takes place in mid September and is a not to be missed event. Competitors come from some distance away, we have even had our good friends form the Cherbourg canoe club join us for the last two years.

A note for your diaries: the 2008 race will be held on 14th September. Further details will be published nearer the time.

Appologies for the lack of detail on this year's race here on our website. We have had several technical difficulties which, fingers crossed, are now all fixed. This year's results will be published here shortly.
